About Lead2change Haiti
History
Lead2Change Haiti was founded in 2021 by one of its co-founders, Lekendy Marcellus, who at the time had just begun his Master's studies in Leadership and Development at the Université Chrétienne du Nord d'Haïti. Following his first Strategic Leadership course taught by his professor Dr. Oris Guillaume, he soon realized that the country was suffering from a lack of leaders, and that those running our institutions, whether public or private, lacked the culture of enlightened leadership. As he was keenly aware of this void, he took the initiative with two other young people, Olivier Pierre and Samson Alexis, to set up this organizational structure aimed at empowering our young people from an early age to unleash their full potential and develop their leadership skills in order to respond to the developmental needs of our country.
